Hotel Review: Seda Manila Bay

The newest hotel in town is now OPEN!

Seda Manila Bay is the latest addition in the booming hospitality industry this side of the city offering a more affordable option other than Okada, Solaire, Conrad, and the City of Dreams hotel chains. It is also a great alternative for passengers looking for a hotel near NAIA Terminals 1 to 4 which is about 10 to 15 minutes away via Skyway. While most Seda hotels are known to be business hotels, this 350-room property is set to cater to both business and leisure travelers with its sprawling water playground, game room and children's playroom, mini-golf, and spa.

Lobby was spacious and check-in was a breeze.

Seda Manila Bay's deluxe room is a functional 30-sqm space with your choice of a king bed or queen + twin beds, a chaise lounge with table which may also serve as dining area, a mini bar, in-room safe, luggage rack, and separate toilet and bath with basic toiletries.

Buffet breakfast is served at Misto, an all-day dining restaurant that serves international cuisine during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Since the hotel is still on its soft opening, don't expect too much variety but we were happy that they served the basics and the ones we usually eat like pancakes and waffles, cold cuts, champorado with danggit and fresh fruits.

Pros: Superb location with ample parking space, decent rooms, game room was a hit with the kids, and irresistible introductory rate of Php5500 (inclusive of breakfast) until September.

Cons: Construction was still on-going during our stay so there was noise and dust, and some recreational facilities were unavailable such as the gym, spa and mini-golf.
