Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant, Second Time Around

It's my second time already in just a span of one week!  My first trip to Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant last week was very interesting and so fulfilling.  You can read it here and here.

We arrived quite late at 8:00pm and the place was jam-packed!  My friends ordered Mango Shake while I had Dalandan Juice which was so refreshing.  Most of the appetizers were gone already so I just went straight to the Asian Station and queued to get Salmon and Tuna Sashimi and Ebi Sushi.

The Baked Oysters arrived 45 minutes after we ordered while the Lamb Chops in 15 minutes.

My friends loved the Pizza and Roast Beef while I spent most of my time at the Japanese Section.  The Chef already knew what I wanted when I came back for the 3rd time. LOL!

The Dim Sum were pretty good as well.  I was able to try it out this time.

The cakes were all wiped out so I settled for a cup of Frozen Yogurt while my friends had Halo-Halo.

I only managed to take photo of the toppings because the line at the Frozen Yogurt machine was too long.

It was a great dining experience, as expected.  The replenishment took quite some time though, but hey, they're still on a dry run.  I am expecting a better service in the future.

The 20% discount (or 30% off if you "Like" Vikings on Facebook) is extended until the 20th of April. What are you waiting for? Reserve now!

What was on our table

We loved the cheese!

Everything was so fresh.

I can eat chicken feet everyday.

Second round of appetizers.

Roast Beef needs more flavor, the lamb was a bit tough but the pizza was delicious.

I loved the Tuna Kebab!

They are so appetizing we can't resist!

Another plate of Sashimi.

Baked Oysters

I like my Baked Tahong with a lot of melted cheese.

Three hours.  That's how long we devoured over the delicious food at Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant.

Service was outstanding. The choices are superb. The interior is so charming. Presentation was mouth-watering. Food are scrumptious and delectable (special mention on the appetizer section particularly the cheese and the freshness of the shrimp). I am already looking forward to my next visit!

The Guy and the King

A night of healthy snack courtesy of The Sandwich Guy

Roast Beef Sandwich.  Generous slices of roast beef with lettuce, tomato and cheese in grilled
wheat bread.  Just make sure to order without the bacon so as not to defeat
the purpose of having a healthy meal.

and Yogurt King.

This is the cheapest Frozen Yogurt I've had at Php95 for a large cup.  Although the choices
are not as much as other yogurt places have, luckily what they have
are the toppings that I like.

Large cup of Frozen Yogurt with Peaches and Kiwi to end a very fulfilling night.

Tutti Frutti Saved the Day

I chose Rai Rai Ken mainly due to lack of better options.  The branch in Bluewave Macapagal is quite new and I thought why not give it a try since I can't remember the last time I ate here, it's been too long I guess. The staff were very attentive or mainly because there were just a couple of occupied tables and so our orders arrived pretty fast.

On the table

Super California Maki with Salmon Salad Toppings.  The mayonnaise was too much, I can barely taste the salmon.

Seafood Bento.  Comes with Miso Soup, Rice, Mixed Seafoods, Shrimp Tempura and Tuna Sashimi.
DO NOT ORDER THIS!  The sashimi is not fresh, the vegetables are barely cooked, the
seafoods are barely there and the tempura, well, it was so so.

For some strange reason, I always end up wearing the same exact shirt whenever
I go to Bluewave and I always have a bad dining experience.

We were out of the place as soon as the change was delivered.  Another barely new store in the area is Tutti Frutti, a Frozen Yogurt dessert place I wouldn't miss trying out since I became addicted to Froyo.

The walls are so enticing!

The cost of your frozen yogurt would depend on the weight of your yogurt + toppings.

You can choose either of the following flavors:  Green Apple, Dark Chocolate, Original, Taro, Raspberry and Banana.
By the way, it's self-service so be conscious how much you get or there will be no room for toppings in your cup.

Then choose which toppings you want.  They have plenty to choose from!

More toppings

The cashier will weigh your cup using this tiny digital weighing scale.  Don't worry because
they don't include the weight of the cup.

We paid between Php100 - 140 for the small cups.

For her.  Original Flavor with walnuts and strawberries.

For him.  Banana Flavor with Red Beans, Mochi and Walnuts.

But she still ended up eating his. *wink wink*
