Nolboo Korean Restaurant

DB and I were running out of options until we saw a lit up signage of Nolboo Korean Restaurant just when we agreed to go to a nearby coffee shop for dinner. One of the things he complains about me living in the province is the limited dining option whenever he comes to visit me at home.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant was closed (hopefully not for good) so it's either Chinese food or some waffles at the coffee shop. Or in this case, unlimited Banchan and some grilled meat which sealed the deal!

On the table

Spicy String Beans and Beef

Spicy Eggplant

Garlic Taiwan Pechay

Spicy Radish

Beansprouts

Kimchi

Mushrooms

Spicy Zucchini

Vegetable Omelette

DB wanted to eat seafood that night so he ordered this Fried Fish which was tasty and not too bony. I love that the outside was crispy but the meat was soft and not dry.

We ordered two sets of Marinated Short Ribs (Php300 each) since we both know that one is never enough for both of us. The waitress chose to grill on the table in front of us so we were spared with direct blow of smoke that no more than 2 sprays of perfume can't mask.

Excellent service, great location with ample parking space and affordable menu -- glad to have another option near our place!
