So instead of using it for again for a staycation in either Sofitel or Fairmont Manila, we opted to book Pullman Singapore Orchard for our 2-day layover trip in the Lion City, on our way to our actual destination - Phuket, Thailand.

Pros: Five-star service and courteous staff, excellent location, spacious and well-appointed rooms, fluffy towels and robes, and a one-of-a-kind beach club.
Cons: Nothing; we would definitely stay here again and longer next time!
