During one of our many dates at
Makchang Korean Restaurant, there was this time when the guard pointed us to a bench beside the restaurant as we wait for a table to become available. While resting, we noticed several Koreans entering another door at the back of Makchang. I decided to check it out of curiosity and saw rows of Banchan on the buffet table. But since my mind was already set to having Beef Galbi with Spicy Scallions at Makchang, we passed.
Fast forward to last week, Hwangso-Ga instantly popped into my head as I was craving for some Korean barbeque. We arrived early for dinner but the place was surprisingly half full already with mostly Korean diners. For just Php349 (lunch) or Php399 (dinner) per person, guests can eat authentic Korean dishes like Bulgogi, Kimbap, Pajeon and Bibimbap along with a wide range of Banchan. You can also grill unlimited brisket and samgupsal at your table!

The servers were fast and accommodating, buffet choices are great and tasty and the exhaust was adequate to keep the smoke from sticking to my hair and clothes -- I am definitely coming back!
