If there's one place in Singapore that I would love to stay even for one night and money is no object, it would probably be the Sands Suite at the Marina Bay Sands. Near the entrance of the casino stands a gold-dispensing automated teller machine where you can buy gold pendants and souvenirs (with certificate of authenticity) for as low as SGD100 depending on the weight and design that you can pay using credit card or cash.
Perhaps the most popular infinity pool in the country, Marina Bay Sands' SkyPark at the 57th floor offers a 360-degree view of Singapore. Too bad only guests who are checked-in can take a dip.
Since it was still early for dinner and I'm quite full from lunch at the seminar earlier, Z suggested to have cocktails at Sky on 57. With a view like this, how can anyone say no?
We were lucky that the rain has stopped and we got the best seats in time for Marina Bay Sands' Light and Water Show. Catching up with a friend whom I haven't seen in years with Singapore's amazing skyline as our backdrop, it was truly a night to remember!
