Hello Cambodia.. Finally!

Up until the last few days before the trip, DB and I were still undecided whether or not we are going to see the famous temples of Siem Reap. He initially agreed on letting me go alone provided he knows my whereabouts all the time and I join group tours. But after having a very bad dream about it (think: Taken the movie), I just told him I won't go anymore.

A few tears and phone calls after, he just told me, "What the heck, let's just go."

And so we did! *wink*

Siem Reap International Airport handles the most number of tourists in Cambodia.  For Philippine passport holders like me, visa is free and can be obtained upon arrival.

Aside from the very beautiful and clean airport, one thing more noticeable is how disciplined the people are. Only hotel representatives who will pick up their guests are allowed in the arrival lobby. Tuktuk and taxis are located in a designated place a few meters away, so there's no congestion even if there are a lot of passengers waiting for their rides. Everything is so peaceful and orderly.

Sigh. I dream of the day this happens to our beloved Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
