Dim Sum Fest at Mandarin Sky

There was a time when I became addicted to Ramen, Hiyashi in particular. Then it turned out I liked anything Sushi more.

But these past few weeks, my taste buds are always craving for little portions of everything in small steamer baskets aka dim sum. It's like an itch that I can't scratch off my tongue! And this rekindled love for dim sum made me drove all the way to Quezon City to try a popular Chinese restaurant called Mandarin Sky.

Unlike in my beloved Golden Bay Restaurant (Read by post about it here and here) where you are given more than 50 options to choose from (Tip: The 50% discount on all dim sum is still on going!), dim sum here in Mandarin Sky is quite limited. You can get them from the waiter pushing a cart full of it making rounds in the restaurant.

What we ordered

Beancurd Roll - Php60.00

Fish Head - Php80.00

Beef Balls - Php70.00

Taosi Spareribs - Php60.00

Hakaw - Php80.00

Raddish Cake - Php60.00

Maybe Golden Bay Restaurant set my standards too high because Mandarin Sky failed to take me to Cloud 9 nor the dim sum heaven. I mean, they're not bad considering it was priced fairly cheap but they are not mind-blowingly delicious as well.

But these days when my tongue is itching for another round of dim sum, I'll take what I can get.
