Sakura Japanese Restaurant and Grocery

I rarely go to Makati nowadays but when I do, I make it a point to eat the most delicious food the city has to offer. Case in point -- Sakura Japanese Restaurant.

Since I was dining alone, choosing what to order became an even more difficult decision because I have nobody to share the food with so I have to limit the order for one person only!

After reading the menu countless times from front to back, I ended up ordering this.

Spicy Tuna Sashimi

I got excited when the waitress placed this in front of me but after a couple of minutes digging in, it had some serious umay factor! I guess that can be attributed to the fact that there's too much mayonnaise and Tempura flakes that overwhelmed the Spicy Tuna which got me stirred up in the first place. After finishing my Hiyashi, I tried eating it again but leaving the flakes so it won't go to waste. Sayang eh!

Hiyashi Chuka

Now this is one dish I would never get tired of ordering over and over again. Sakura's version had generous servings of Chicken Karaage on top of a bowl of cold Ramen noodles with Tamagoyaki (Eggs), Seaweed, Crabstick and Cucumber.

So if you're looking for quality and delicious Japanese food at affordable prices, Sakura Japanese Restaurant is the best place to go.
