Lee Boutique Hotel, Tagaytay

Another fun-filled Saturday began with me convincing DB that Lee Boutique Hotel and The Boutique are two different hotels in Tagaytay City. The latter being the most sought-after boutique bed and breakfast that we dream of staying in one day.

It started out with a friend's text asking me if we are willing to buy her voucher for an overnight stay in Lee Boutique Hotel already booked for that weekend. Since we were already planning of spending the weekend in an out of town location, we agreed on taking their booking and so we found ourselves in Lee Boutique that Saturday afternoon right after my class.

The reception area was stylish but small. Good thing we were the only guests checking in that time so we had the entire area to ourselves. We were also served with welcome drinks while waiting.

After confirming our reservation and paying the additional Php500 weekend surcharge, we were brought to our room which was right beside the reception area.

Room No. 1

I was hoping that we would be upgraded to a Deluxe Room but due to its unavailability, we were brought to a Superior Room which was nice, well-kept and surprisingly big for a boutique hotel.

The Euro-Asian design of Lee Boutique exudes charisma and a warmly welcome to its guests with its chic vibe and elegant color coordination. This particular corner of the room would have been a great nook for reading books or just snugging with your lovey-dovey if only they had better views and not of the neighboring hotel.

Other amenities of our room include an air-conditioning unit and a ceiling fan, an LCD TV with cable channels, a coffee and tea making facility with complimentary bottled waters and snacks, a personal refrigerator and closet with a safe for your valuables.

The bathroom would have been great with hot and cold rain shower, complete toiletries and a tub if only the walls are thick enough that you won't hear the people talking in the corridor or the phone ringing in the reception area.

Before retiring to bed, we went to the roof deck located on the fourth floor of the hotel where guests can throw intimate parties or have their complimentary breakfast served in style.

Aside from its convenient location, what I love most about Lee Boutique Hotel is the design and the size of the rooms. Contrary to the reviews I've read, our room was huge and the decors are pretty chic too. Too bad we weren't able to try their breakfast as we preferred to sleep in until almost check out time. We initially requested for our complimentary breakfast to be served in the room but they charge a service fee of Php300 per plate which was ridiculous so we declined.

I've seen various group buying sites offering attractive deals for an overnight stay at Lee Boutique Hotel. So what are you waiting for? Click the Purchase button now!
