I've been hearing a lot of great things about this Italian restaurant in Tagaytay so when the chance to dine presented itself, who am I to say no? *wink*
Buon Giorno! is a popular choice of tourists who frequent Tagaytay City. With an amazing view like this, everything just gets even more delicious.
We were lucky to be able to get a table right away on that busy Sunday afternoon. We wanted to dine al fresco but all the tables facing Taal were already taken. So if you want to have a better view, reserve ahead of time.
Complimentary basket of freshly-baked breads were given at once.
Olive Oil + Balsamic Vinegar + Loooots of Parmesan Cheese = Pure Dip Bliss

Tuna seared to perfection. That alone is enough reason to order this Insalata di Tonno -- a mix of Lettuce, Cucumber, Potato, Bell Peppers, Egg, Cherry Tomatoes and Seared Tuna dazzled with Mustard dressing.

One can never have enough appetizers.
Buon Giorno's complimentary breads are delicious but we cannot resist ordering their Bruschetta which comes with the best dip I've ever tasted! It's so good that even after finishing the crostini, I had to ask for another round of bread so that the dip won't go to waste. It's really good and highly recommended!

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you'll probably know by now that I'm not big on Pizza. I mean, I don't hate it but I don't crave for it either. This Prosciutto a Funghi is probably on the top 3 of my most preferred Pizza in the whole world. This-crust Pizza topped with Mozzarella Cheese, Parma Ham, Mushrooms and Bell Pepper -- so simple, yet so delicious!

Generous servings, fast service, consistent goodness, great view of Taal and real value for money. No wonder Buon Giorno! has become a favorite pit-stop of tourists in Tagaytay.
