"Husband and wife Peter and Anita Clorina started their restaurant in Dasmarinas, Cavite in the year 1984 as a typical carinderia. It became popular among students that's why they stopped serving beer and converted the carinderia into a fast food restaurant called Countryside Tapsi-Steak House which sells mostly T-bone steak and Tapsilog. The menu is moderate sized and moderately low priced. With the need to expand, they decided to loan from a livelihood cooperative and gave it a new name -- Countryside Steakhouse and Cafe."
