Gambling has been legal in Macau for over 150 years, most people go there for that purpose only. But if you're like me who can't afford that kind of "hobby" (a couple of minutes in the slot machine doesn't count right?) -- what's an adventurous guy or gal to do?
Pray for a miracle at the Ruins of St. Paul
Stroll along Senado Square
Food trip!
Street food |
Sugar cane |
Almond cookies |
Beef jerky -- perfect pasalubong |
Visit the famous Venetian Macau (with emphasis on the word visit only)
for a Gondola ride or some window shopping
Other places you can visit are the Fisherman's Wharf
Across Sands Casino |
and The Museum of Macau
Macau is just an hour ferry ride away from Hongkong, or if you have money to spare (Read: HKD2, 600) you can take the sky shuttle which cuts down your travel time to just 15 minutes. Sweet!
