When I was a kid, my grandpa would always bring us to Max's Restaurant in Baclaran whenever there's an occasion -- birthdays, anniversaries etc. We would travel for an hour just to have a taste of Max's signature dish - Fried Chicken with Jufran Ketchup. Fast forward today, my dad would still prefer to dine here even if there are a lot of restaurants near us. It is definitely a classic favorite in the family.
And apparently with colleagues as well.

I wonder where my name came from.

On the table
Crab & Corn Soup. Just the right dose of creaminess. |
Sizzling Tofu. Thank you Ate Rhoda for ordering this. It's so yummy! Don't be deceived by the chili, it's not that spicy. |
The Star of the Table. Max's Fried Chicken (Shy type ayaw humarap LOL!). Sarap to the bones! |
Pancit Canton. I was too busy with my chicken, I forgot to try this out. |
Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet. We can barely taste the fish, the breading is overwhelming. |
I wonder where my name came from.
