The Best Daing na Bangus at LZM Restaurant

A friend of mine introduced me to the one of the best Filipino restaurants I have ever been to.

I can't believe I have never tried this before. Though technically, LZM restaurant is located in Silang, I was told that most travelers go here for lunch first before heading back to the road that leads to Tagaytay.

Update: LZM Restaurant already opened a branch in Tagaytay City right across the street that leads to Starbucks.

I've been seeing more and more kids playing with their iPads to keep them company. I guess there's less screaming and yelling in restaurants then.

It was Good Friday but the place was packed with families, mostly Filipino-Chinese, so ordering can be quite stressful especially if there are only two (or maybe three if you include the cashier) staff getting the orders and cleaning the tables.

After about 30 minutes, our lunch was served.

I heard the Bulalo here is to-die-for but we passed on that since its Holy Week. Nevertheless, all our orders were exceptionally good.

And the star of every table and probably the best daing na bangus you could ever find. While most people love the bangus belly fat, I on the other hand, likes the crunchy sides only if its boneless. Its funny how my friends fight over the fat that I always set aside on my plate.

Daing na Bangus

I wonder who supplies this huge bangus to the restaurant. Maybe I should go back soon and ask them myself. *wink*
