Misibis Bay -- Resort Activities

Before we were guided to our rooms, a staff from Sitio Recreation Center approached me and handed me two papers. She explained that those are itinerary samples of activities which we can do based on the length of our stay in Misibis Bay.

We then agreed on taking the first itinerary sample that starts at 10am compared to the other one that starts after lunch. After resting a bit in our respective rooms, we all went to the center for the briefing and to sign the waiver forms.

After the rain stopped, we were met by our driver who took us to the Eco Park for our first activity -- Zip Line!

Meet our ever reliable driver/tour guide/photographer.

Safety first!

Too bad the wall climbing isn't available anymore. Hope they fix it soon.

After double checking our safety gears, we were instructed to climb to the top for the 200meter zip line.

It was my first time to zip line in the rain and I must say that it was an exhilarating experience!

Next stop was the tour of the Eco Park.

Stella Maris Chapel

According to our guide, the Stella Maris Chapel have been binding couples through the Holy Matrimony since its establishment. Among the more famous ones who wed here were couple Victor Consunji and Maggie Wilson.

Overlooking the Gulf of Albay

We were also brought to the location of the pit stop for the 5th leg of Amazing Race Asia Season 4.

I love that ice-cold bottled water is readily available everywhere -- in the golf carts, by the beach and in the boats. No need to ask because the staff will automatically offer it to you.

Since our package does not include the use of motorized activities and scuba diving, we just maximized the free activities that we can do in the resort.

We snorkeled for about 30 minutes and saw a lot of colorful fishes (a school of needlefish kept on following me I was scared for a time) and plenty of giant clams. Our guide was very informative with all the trivia and interesting details he shared with us.

I had cramps while swimming so our guide here massaged my feet while we were
still in the water. Thank you! You saved me Php2000 for that massage. *wink*

Of course, who can't resist taking a dip in their infinity pools.

Pools are open from 7am to 7pm only

The most exciting activity which I thoroughly enjoyed was the Hobie Cat Sailing. Hobie Cats are small lightweight boats with no motor and only uses the wind to sail.

Jetskis can be leased for Php2,440 for half an hour.

I wanted to rent a Segway to use around the resort but found out that it was too expensive at Php2440 for 30 minutes only.

And so we settled with the kayak which is free of charge.

The Sitio Recreation Center in an indoor activity hub that will keep the kids and kids at heart busy.

Table Tennis

Billiards

Kids corner is located near the entrance.

Playroom

Wii, Playstation 3, X-Box and Dora to keep the kids occupied.

A state-of-the-art gym is also available to use. But who goes to the gym on vacation anyway? Definitely not me.

The second floor of the center is a lounge which offers a perfect view of the beach and the entire resort.

There's still so much more to do in Misibis Bay Resort like Sunset Cruise, ATV Tour, Bottom Fishing, Scuba Diving and other motorized activities. But what excited me most is seeing that they offer an Aerial Tour of Mayon Volcano which literally costs an arm and a leg! Read: Php45,920 for the most basic tour for 3 passengers only. I guess that is what you call "bakasyon grande". Definitely more fun in the Philippines!
