We booked a Junior Suite Deluxe Room (approximately 45sqm) by the pool for the four of us which has two double beds and a day bed. Misibis Bay is one expensive resort so we wanted to minimize our expenses as much as we can, hence the quad-sharing room.
But the nice people in Misibis Bay were feeling generous and surprised us upon check-in. No, we did not get an upgrade. We got another room!
I kept hearing an alarm a couple of minutes after we got in. I was ignoring it at first but it gets so irritating I had to look where it's coming from. And so I followed the sound that led me to the door. It turned out that we did not lock the door properly so it just kept on alarming. Nice security feature!

This is one vacation I wouldn't mind just staying in the room throughout the day. If only the beach and the pool isn't so inviting..
