I've been to El Nido, Palawan twice but it was my first time to step foot in Puerto Princesa City last June. I've canceled trips going here twice in the past mainly because of conflict on work schedule so imagine my delight when I finally arrived at the airport! Well, this third attempt wasn't an easy breeze either and nearly gave me a heart attack thinking we won't make it to the flight! Good thing the Cebu Pacific staff was kind enough to accommodate us even if we arrived 5 minutes past close counter. We were literally running from the check-in counter down to the boarding gate while the last boarding call and our names were being announced. It was such a stressful experience!
Anyway, the flight was relatively smooth and I dozed off as soon as the plane took off. We arrived in the city around 730pm and was picked up by the staff of Purple Fountain Inn. Drove another 5 minutes and soon enough, we were entering this quaint place in the quiet neighborhood of the city.
Purple Fountain Inn offers a cozy accommodation for budget travelers in Puerto Princesa City. It opened only May of this year so they're still in their soft opening but the service is in full swing already.
The inn is very colorful inside and out. You'll immediately see the purple fountain with two angels that stands in the middle of the place.
There are only 10 rooms here so better make your reservations as early as possible. Just look at the photos below and you'll understand why I fell in love with this place.

The standard room without a porch cost Php1700 per night but we got the discounted rate of Php1530 (less 10% discount) which is such a steal!
The room is very nice and clean, not even a dash of dust on the tables.

There's hot and cold shower available and very consistent too!
We had a wonderful time in Puerto Princesa City and thanks to Purple Fountain Inn for making it even more special. I can't wait to be back again soon!
