Bugis Street, SG

Much like Hongkong's famed Mongkok area, Singapore's Bugis Street is where you can find clothes, bags, shoes, electronics, watches and all kinds of souvenirs at very affordable prices (far from the sky-high prices at Orchard Road). Just don't be surprised if they won't give you discounts, unlike in most flea markets in the Philippines, Malaysia and Hongkong, the vendors here are very "firm" with the prices of their goods. But hey, they still offer the best value in whole of Singapore.

Its not air-conditioned so it could get really hot inside especially at noon time.

Souvenir t-shirts are being sold here at SGD10 for 4 pieces.

Street food is also available if you get hungry.

We saw these kids from the Young Artists Club of Singapore in front of the market.

That is a really nice drawing!

After shopping, we went to the food court just across the street to grab lunch and rest a bit before heading to Orchard Road.

If you're a bargain hunter and loves Singapore's hawker food, then Bugis Street is the perfect place for you.
