Changi Airport, SG

Singapore's Changi Airport is regarded as one of the best airports in the world. Currently serving 95 airlines to 200 major cities all over the world, Changi is one very busy airport and a major gateway to Asia.

Hassle-free check in, signage is everywhere so no chance of getting lost, the variety of restaurants inside the airport, WiFi and wired internet almost in every corner, an entertainment deck at Terminal 2 for all you gamers out there, a movie theater in Terminals 2 and 3, a swimming pool, shower and hot tub facility in Terminal 1 and best of all, you can refund your GST (Goods and Services Tax) here. Important: Just make sure that you get the Electronic Tourist Refund Scheme (eTRS) from the retailer or you won't be able to get your 7% refund.

After getting all our luggage, we went to the Visitor's Center to get maps and ask for directions going to the city proper.

We opted to take the MRT instead of taking a taxi which is more expensive. While the taxi costs SGD50 for 4 passengers, we only paid SGD2 for a one-way ticket to Clarke Quay station.

Two nights in Singapore and we were back at Changi Airport for our flight back home. While waiting for boarding, my friends checked out the shops nearby for last minute shopping.

If you have kids, there's a mini-playground to keep them entertained.

I, on the other hand, was busy looking for food. *wink*

Fresh Orange Juice

The Sardine tart was so delicious! I wish I've bought some so DB can try it.
