Koulen Restaurant, SR

Polla, our tuktuk driver/tour guide, suggested we try out Koulen Restaurant if we wanted to watch Khmer's Classical Dance -- Apsara, over delicious buffet dinner. Out of curiosity and hunger, DB and I agreed we go straight to the restaurant after a trip to the Old Market.

Upon arrival the Koulen, we were ushered to a table near the buffet but quite far from the stage since most seats were already reserved. A few minutes passed and the place was packed with tourists like us.

We were lucky we were able to take a few shots while there were still food on the table.

The buffet had Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Thai and Khmer cuisine. I particularly liked the Thai Spring Rolls and Chicken Amok, theirs was the best I have tried in my entire stay in Siem Reap.

Two plates later and the show finally begun.

The ladies were very graceful!

I'm glad we listened to Polla's suggestion. It was USD10 well spent.
