Congo Grille

DB and I were supposed to have Chicken-All-You-Can at Max's Restaurant but were unsuccessful for two consecutive nights. Last Friday when we arrived at 7pm, the waiting list is already at  No. 28 (with some even up to 10 in a group) so we backed out and went to Congo Grille instead.

I told DB that I'm craving for Parilla's Kilawin that night, but they only have a branch in QC which is on the other side of the Metro from where we are. And so the quest for the next best Kilawin began.

Congo Grille's Kilawin na Tanigue was fresh but too sour.

The Tuna Sisig had too much mayonnaise, it felt like eating tuna spread. Pass on the bread please!

Beef Kare-Kare was a tad bit oily and they obviously used peanut butter instead of old
school grinded peanuts. The beef was very tender though, melts in your mouth.

Any suggestions?
